Esaunggul.ac.id, Miss Bintang Indonesia is a national beauty pageant that aims to empower Indonesian women through personal and professional development. The Miss Bintang Indonesia Foundation provides a platform for participants to express themselves authentically and encourage positive impact in their personal, professional, and philanthropic lives.

The contest provides an opportunity for Indonesian women to adapt in the election of miss Bintang Indonesia 2025, which is held in Banten, as well as miss Bintang Indonesia, a national beauty pageant formerly known as miss grand Indonesia. The contest is managed by Yayasan dunia mega bintang and aims to select Indonesian representatives in international events such as miss grand international and others.

Miss Bintang Indonesia Banten 2025, Najwa Putri Gunawan, familiarly called awa is a law faculty student from Esa Unggul University Tangerang, awa not only has academic intelligence, but also has a very high social concern.

With the support of Arizona State University (ASU), Cintana Allience supports UEU in realizing its vision to become an international standard university, as well as providing quality education for students throughout Indonesia, and this partnership has had a positive impact in improving the academic quality and learning experience of students.

Awa also managed to get a proud achievement, namely winning 3rd runner-up in JSIT Banten 2021 short film, and 1st place in Hadroh Putri Pospekot Tangsel 2019 team. In addition to her achievements, Najwa Putri Gunawan as an outstanding student of Esa Unggul University Tangerang is full of pride for achieving success in winning Miss Bintang Indonesia Banten 2025.

The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, also gave appreciation for the achievement that shows that Esa Unggul University students are not only superior in the academic world, but also able to compete and achieve achievements at national and international levels, and hopes that this achievement can be an encouragement for other students to continue to develop themselves, improve their competence, and optimize their potential.

In Najwa Putri Gunawan’s view, true beauty is a combination of outer appearance and inner beauty that is reflected in good attitude, confidence, and sincerity.

According to awa, attitude is very important in interacting with others. A person who has a polite, friendly, and respectful attitude towards others will be more respected and liked by those around him.

Awa also has hobbies, namely traveling, culinary, and cooking, that a person who has a social awareness spirit will care about the condition of others and try to help without expecting a reward.

But she said, the biggest challenge faced is maintaining the image and expectations of the public. There is a stigma that pageant events are only judged by physical beauty, whereas personal quality, social awareness, and positive attitude are also important aspects of assessment.

She hopes that this event can be a source of inspiration for the younger generation, especially women, to dare to pursue their dreams while still upholding positive values, such as social awareness and the importance of education.

According to her, this opportunity is not just a beauty event, but a place to explore their potential and provide motivation for their peers. Awa invites young people to show that they are a generation that is caring, intelligent, and able to provide inspiration for society to be better.
